987.2 Black Edition.... What is it worth?

There are no issues with the steering as it does the job but loses most of the feedback that the superb chassis can provide…..it was one of the highlights of the 987. I mention it as its not something thats obvious when you first drive a 981/718 compared to a 987 as your senses are drawn to all of the other changes in cabin etc………eg during a test drive. It took me going backwards to a 987 from a 981 to fully appreciate what had been lost in the steering feedback, in fact I was shocked by the difference. The change suits most cars which try to isolate a driver from the road but in a sports car something is lost, its a generic issue not just Porsche.

Just to close this out, the car got sold to a Porsche Specialist down in the Southwest today for a fair price for all parties.

I am sure it will pop up on Autotrader and the likes soon, it was a great car and has been looked after if anyone fancies it from the dealer.

Sad to see it go but now on the look out for a nice 718 S or GTS to replace it.
