Porsche Connect - Navigation & Infotainment Services

I wouldn’t personally bother after the free period. I tend to use Apple CarPlay (Google maps) for Navigation and traffic updates.

I’ve had Porsche connect in the last few cars I’ve had and can’t say I ever really used any of the apps at all.

PCM4 does not run android auto as a stock option but there are ways of making it happen.

That's poor.

I read that the latest Taycans are now running PCM6 which supports Android Auto, I wonder which system the MY 2023 BGTS will be running?

Does anyone ever renew these services?  I know I didn't bother on both BMW or JLR.

Apple/Android really killed this potential revenue stream from the OEMs that's for sure.

I have live services on my daily focus.   I renewed it.  Live “hazard” notifications ( traffic , road works, accidents ) in dash outside if sat nav or CarPlay / android auto makes it worth it

mind you the built in nav is pretty good - and the map updates are free
