Patt
check all your vacuum lines as an air leak can also throw this out.
Nobbie
The joints on the exhaust can leak and drag in air which throws off the lamda value. I had this on mine, replaced the joints and it passed.

Rev Ken
I always give my Boxster an 'Italian Tune-up' on my way to the MOT garage - so far it has never failed on emissions.🤞

The tester informed me last time that there was a small hole in the exhaust manifold. This was welded before the test this year and my car sailed through. edc
Hole in the manifold? Is it rusted to buggery?! 😆

Rev Ken
Well it has come to MOT time in the next month. (The automatic reminder invaluable!) I hope an Italian tune up will work this time....🤞

Guy Wilkinson
My very friendly guy stuffed the exhaust tips with rags to get it through. we had a good look and saw nothing around the manifold or cats. The rear box seams are going / gone but again no carbon deposits.
