Raffe Posted April 16, 2023 Report Share Posted April 16, 2023 A friend who is mechanically competent has a failed indicator bulb on his rear cluster and upon inspection and scouring net can’t find a way to replace. Anyone got any help/experience on doing this as surely this can’t write off a cluster. ½cwt Posted April 16, 2023 Report Share Posted April 16, 2023 They are not bulbs (checked on PET first) unfortunately they appear to be sealed LED clusters. I had similar issue with The Better ½'s first VW EOS, only option was a new light cluster; in that case fortunately Hella who did the OE units also did aftermarket ones at a third the price of a factory one. I do have a spare set of rear 981 lights but am planning to keep them to put back on the car when the day comes to sell. That way I can sell the GTS lights and claw back a bigger chunk of cash.
