In my youth I smoked about in Dutton B+ for a couple of years and loved every minute of it. My brother in law gave me a Dutton Melos with a xflow engine because his mother wanted it off the drive. But I was a clueless broke student and I in turn was keeping it at a mates house whos parents also wanted it off the driveway so I sold it for buttons. GBS Zero - full details here: https://zerolifebuild.blogspot.com/ Dutton's are pretty rare these days - last one I saw was on a track day a few years ago. It lasted about 3 laps before it broke 😀 Edited February 7 by nelmo

I went out as passenger for him once on the Clee Hill Trial back in the '90s. Amazing motorsport with virtually no speed involved!
Menoporsche
My first car was a Dutton Phaeton S3, based on mk 1 Escort 1.6. Keeping it on the road with a student budget taught me about car mechanics and breakers yards.
Slomofo
Well after a Week of ownership I think this might be a keeper for a fair while (unless it goes bang, then we’ll see) I’ve not had as much fun since my last Caterham, but I’m a fat git now so it’s coping with the ballast pretty well!
