Always going to be a narrow market for a categorised + high miles car… needs to be cheap cheap cheap….
Different world and car but at the start of lockdown I viewed a 987.2 Boxster 3.4S 130k miles non cat for £7000. I felt that was about right - although offered less and left it 😂.
Nice to see one actually being used though / instead of preserved for the next owners.

Comes across like he’d look after a car / and looks to have done with this one.
Shame it’s PDK - but does have the nice wheel design and sporty interior.
That one owner, OPC warrantied, manual - discussed (slated 😂) - on the GTS values thread looks to have sold - reckon that’d been good value at < £35k… appearing at a specialist soon maybe….

Still looks mega that car @Gutley what a beauty / perfect colour.

This has been for sale for a few weeks… was on the classified thread I’m sure…
Advert says 1 owner - colour combo (carmine + tan) not for everyone … and needs a good scrub…. And a bit miley … but a manual GTS with OPC history and warranty to 2025… wonder what they actually want for it price wise…. 36?

@GeorgeTincknell looks glass to me. Which would fit with the year of the car - facelift 986.

That’s the one … £ 36750 now …! 😃
Combo and wheels aside I might treat myself at Xmas - be around £25k then 😇

£36995 now … Manual - Warranty - 1 owner not enough to offset colour combo and miles it would appear…
-
@r1flyguy has had a couple of Macan variants maybe able to assist…
-
Maybe £ 2500 toward that iffy coloured (carmine / beige) Manual 2015 GTS - with warranty mind… 😇

@Bradders59 loads on EBay and the like too ….. vw plastic nuts or similar:
I ran a tap through the ones I bought so I didn’t force them over the - slightly old looking - metal threads / posts from the chassis.

I thought that sold on the collecting cars auction site but it has different wheels to the one on Autotrader
@Tony Daniel that CC one is PDK with less miles etc.
@moospeed was just browsing, but thank you. If I fancied a GTS I’d definitely have a view / might be a cheap way into one with warranty.

Still think this would be good fun for the money (any stories / rabbits aside) 😄

Glad you posted it actually, has given me an extra nudge to advertise mine. Couldn’t decide where but looks like autotrader might be the best bet, mine is less miles, much better spec, and will have a better warranty - for less money, so should compare well against the competition maybe.
I didn’t realise Pistonheads charge for ads now, didn’t have to pay before but it’s been a few years ago I guess…
Here first 🙂 sounds a good car 🏁

Tricky isn’t it - so many good things about your car. But I guess the beige will have a limited appeal - and folks want everything for nothing - PSE / PASM / Sport seats / paddles etc…
Saying that I’m sure someone will come along and value the mileage / length of ownership / low owners / warranty aspect - great cars the 981S.
GLWTS.

@832ark I’d agree with the above. Reasonably priced from an OPC - (£20 ish each) brembo parts with a porsche label on. Pre bent / correct fitting with the spring clips as @½cwt mentioned.
My front flexi to calliper ones when new pictured below (when I did those / ss flexis and nipples).
Worth replacing the bleed nipples at the same time if they are in any way slightly manky.

@mr.tourette23 I’m guessing certificate of conformity (but maybe well off piste).
Alignment cost

@mr.tourette23 When I had the 996 I used ‘Spires Tuning’ in Warwick / Near Leamington Spa. This was after a complete suspension refresh / arms / links / bolts / coil overs etc…
Matt there was excellent - terminally OCD in a good way - and approachable. I’d had bad experiences locally - one “specialist” (jokers) and some friendly chaps with a Hunter set up. Sadly neither local operators were up to it.
Car drove really, really well afterwards - I wouldn’t hesitate using him again.
Alignment was around £150 ish. He included a check over first (up on post lifts to check for play etc) / then set up:
