Finally got it home in my garage, only bought the house a year ago !

Ah yes of course

Yeah maybe but you know what people are like!
Just a bit of a shocker coming from no advisories previous years.
Do you know which bit they mean by front lower ball joint? Is it the control arm?

Oh dear, from the 'glare' emoticon, I'm guessing this wasn't in a good way?
A ball joint and all four tyres advisory! So now everyone's gonna look at the mot history and brand me a shyatety owner cos it looks like I've let the tyres go to shyate when the fronts are only two years old and they all don't look that bad at all, honest!

Service and mot didn't expect the results but there you go

Ah thank you, glad the tribulations with my roof can help others 🙂

Haha, is that what you're blaming for your slight tail-happiness when you left?
Haha knew you'd say that !

Came back from an almost 400 mile round trip to Beaulieu. I can't believe I haven't noticed it more so before but the difference a full tank of fuel and lots of bags in the frunk make to the handling!

Realised I've lost one of me nut covers !!

FINALLY found time to have a car day !!!!!! Lovely drive out, a good 100 miles
then some Beaulieu prep - snow foam wash, clay bar, wax, cleaned interior and treated leather, even polished exhaust tip and headlights! A productive boxster day! 😄

Cleaned and proofed my roof with the Autoglym Clean & Protect kit. It’s currently sat in the garage drying. Went on pretty easy, but it hasn’t made my roof look any newer! Hopefully it’ll bead up really nicely if I get caught in the rain!
Beads fantasticly. Barely makes it look any different though I agree!

Thanks for all the comments I'll see if I can get down to them at some point.

Was it somewhere local to you @Sazzy? How much did you pay for the refurb? Understand your disappointment but I’d probably go back to see what their reaction was...
Even after 2 years? Yes local, £65 a wheel. I'm not sure, but something tells me he mentioned a years guarantee at the time ....

That looks poor prep to me, is it just one wheel @Sazzy? I'd be inclined to take them back for another go.......
Just the one wheel as far as I can see. Not sure I really want to go back to the same place now though. Disappointing.

@Sazzy, have the tyres been changed since the wheel refurb?
Nope 😕

Not normal. Poor prep most likely. Is there corrosion or bubbling underneath?
Here's a pic...

Cleaned and reproofed the hood. Gave the rest of the car a good wash and as per my comment the other day on always finding something new every wash, I noticed that the paint is flaking on one of my alloys! They were refurbed less than 2 years ago, is this normal?

Brembo might not be interested but could be a batch issue if you haven't over stressed the pads if you feel so motivated to try to contact them. They won't be able to contact individual customers/users but could help with QA. You never know you might get a free set out of them for going to the effort, that's if you'd want to risk them again...
If I'd bought them myself maybe I would but I have no info on how old they are etc.
The car had new discs and pads on the front last year by me, all brembo, so let's hope this was just a one off...!

Looks like a bonding failure of the compound to the backing plate. What brand/spec are the pads? Have they been on track?
I've just cleaned up the backing plate and it was brembo!!!!
Picked up some pagids to replace and side by side the difference in wear on the old pad against new is negligible

No idea as they were on the car from the previous owner but he didn't track the car and nor have I.

Removed the NS rear wheel to have a look at what the access is like to replace the 02 sensors.
Unfortunately was faced with this -
The brake pad is in two pieces !!! I'm mortified, we've just come back from nearly a 700 mile trip! The pad still has plenty of meat on it though?! I've never seen or heard of anything like this happening before?!!

Just back home from a 670 mile trip to go to The Porsche Experience centre at Silverstone. Brilliant weekend and my little car didn't put a foot wrong.
