michelin
I did it yesterday and those clips around the exhaust.....What the! 😤 I'm going to take that piece around the exhaust off today and give those tips a good polish and then seal with Gtechniq C4. That will keep them cleaner for longer. Re the parts, my dealer is saying that the rear diffuser comes complete with the exhaust surround, L+R diffusers AND the elongated plastic chassis that the diffusers secure to....🤔 I'm also going to take the fins out of the bottom front bumper and give the areas a good clean and also seal with Gtehcniq C4. I've never taken these off before so it should be interesting. I hope its not as bad as those clips around the exhaust yesterday 🙄
michelin
I'm just looking at the GT4 diffuser now as well as the GTS one. The GT4 has the gap with mess behind it and I suppose if you have Zunsport grilles to the front it would match nicely. Trying to decide which one to go for...........🤔
michelin
Ok so I decided to go for the GTS diffusers. I’ve applied a coating of Gtechniq C4 to them so now is the time to put it all back together. Given the bumper is off it should be easy. 👍🏼👍🏼 Ps Thanks for the tips and hints chaps. It’s very much appreciated. 👌🏼👍🏼
Lonewolfgjp
I did the GTS diffuser swap today, with the bumper in situ. It was a fiddly job but not to difficult, I did raise the back end of the car slightly to help access. I also found a head torch useful to spot the clips👍 I would recommend ordering the exhaust surround as well as I didn’t and mine looked a bit tired against the fresh side pieces. I did give it a go with some trim restorer, hopefully that will work 😎
Dubdubz
Forgot to call the OPC today is the best place still for this [these] ? There was a part number mentioned which I presume is a 'kit' ie both sides... TIA
Lonewolfgjp
The part numbers will be for the pair but I would recommend getting the exhaust cover as well so you get a complete fresh look. If you order from the main dealer they can parts diagram up and order you the correct parts you need 👍
Dubdubz
Part number in this thread mentioned years back wasnt recognised - anyone got the part numbers to hand so I can call again tomorrow. The chap wanted to get home so I let him off doing an exhaustive search!!
Patt
you need to be more specific - with or without parking sensors ?

Patt
I'll see if I have the paperwork in the file, although it was years ago.

I thought this would be an easy way to spend money on nonsense I don’t really need….
Lonewolfgjp
I haven’t but if you have a word with the parts department they should be able to find out for you. I used to have a tame parts guy at Porsche Wolverhampton and he used to sort all these parts out for me. Sadly he moved to Porsche Worcestor but you could ring and ask for Adam?
Dubdubz
Cambs OPC weren’t a great help, I guess I was asking for bits that didn’t fit my car and apparently these parts aren’t super specific on the fiche so it’s not super clear. If they did have the right parts they have climbed in price significantly. Headlights first.
