TV8
Hi there, I am picking up my new toy tomorrow and wondered where are the best place(s) for getting bits and pieces plus potential little up-grades. Obviously, there are the Porsche dealers but being used to a TVR, there are lots of suppliers that do help you with things you didnt even know that you needed! It hopefully doesnt need anything but its good to know what/where is out there for the future Thanks in advance
Boxob
It rather depends on what you're wanting! In my experience OPCs can often be cheaper than third party suppliers for genuine small parts especially small plastic parts and fasteners. Well worth bench marking against OPC prices before buying elsewhere. Autofactors e.g. ECP and CP4L, offer service parts, pads, discs etc at good prices especially when they have flash sales. Costco and Amazon get mentioned frequently on here. There are dedicated Porsche part retailers e.g. Design 911, Porscheshop for accessories. EBay, other auction and s/h sales sites can be a good resource as can breakers. Don't forget there's a for sale forum on here where members advertise parts e.g. wheels, tyres, head units at usually very good prices.

Second that, they seem to be well priced as well. Good guys and tend to reply quickly to emails if you have any questions / queries.
