Araf
I'm not sure the Boxster is either rare enough, or far enough from the mainstream for all owners to get excited about seeing another. Certainly the drivers of air-cooled models are, but they may ignore you for having a modern car. Wave on the Continent. They're a much friendlier lot over there. Completely different market/owners. However, on my motorbike its always a nod to another biker, but never, obviously, to a scooter. But have you ever given the biker nod only to pass one of those 125cc sports lookalike things? So irritating ??
thanatoid
Or even, having been out a while before on a bike, found later while driving a car, still nodding :-) And no, never to a scooter :-) Pah!
TubbyNorman
Agreed, car is way to common a sight on the roads to be a wave thing, however, bikers always nod ! Always waved in the VX220 turbo, but they are a rare sight on our roads.
