Noticeable for sure, old one was a claimed 280 bhp, but it had some clever plenum and throttle body which improved things over stock. 981 (315bhp) is just different - there is a huge amount of grunt when the rpm is high. to be honest I haven't hooned it much yet, other than on the way east to west on the A66 on Saturday, when I had sport mode on and it just took off! More to come on this for sure - we have some nice quiet roads on the south side of Glasgow which are ideal to perform some testing
Withy
A couple of pics after a clean today. Not only do I love the design of these 20" Sport Techo's - I think they are the easiest wheels to clean I've ever had ?

Stark
It’s plastic yes - but looks very alloy ish I have a set of mats I’ve been using for a year, you can have them for £50 if you want as I have another new set. Regularly cleaned and brushed Thanks @Stark I think I'll just stick to new ones from OPC - they're only £76 so will grab them this week from Glasgow Porsche assuming they have stock. Thanks anyway

Mine was at a via Autotrader at a trader in North Yorskshire and all worked out fine - just need to do the DVLA thing and sort out my private plate and I'm sorted ? Patt
Well I was just about to ask if the rims were part painted, but I see from the second set of pictures they aren't - that's a great trick of the eye as they look even better and work really well with your body colour. You may have auto dim mirrors with retractable wing mirrors, but your headlights look too silver to be the auto dim versions? Ohh and OPC do full length dust cap covers for about £41 with coloured crest or mono in black or silver, or normal dust covers mono only in silver for £

Autodim interior mirrors - Yes Retractable wing mirrors - No Headlights - Xenon (std, not PDLS) Went to OPC to get my mats today, so that is sorted. Had a good look around at all the other random cr@p available - didn't spot the logo dust cap cover - mine has quite elegant silver ones - they'll do me fine. What do folks do with these weird (but cool) 911 shaped keys wrt keyrings? I had one like this https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Genuine-Porsche-Crest-Key-Ring-Black/232900588245?hash=item3639f4f2d5:g:4mIAAOSwIqJbcZzT on my 987 keys, but think that there would be too many Porsche logo's - and I don't really like this style https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Dark-Brown-Leather-Key-cover-porsche-Cayman-Cayenne-Panamera-BOXSTER-MACAN/162019962395
Scubaregs
Use the former. (Got 2 with the car) Keys sit in my pocket more often than not and see no evidence of any marking so no need for a cover.
Cocky
I might be off the mark here but if this car came from Knaresborough a friend of mine was telling me about the place as he got his 981 2.7 from here at some crazy price coming into winter. He was at the time a little put off by the prices as just up the road at Redline the same spec car was almost £10k more. Those wheels really make it! Patt
I'm sure the electric retractable mirrors and rain sensor came with the auto dim mirrors as a package deal. There should be a button above the mirror joystick adjuster on the drivers door switch - it's blanked out if not fitted. If you have that then you can chose in the car options if you want them to fold as you lock the car (they fold out again when you start the car) Having seen a fake carbon ie black and silver print key of a GT3 owner, I didn't take that option and went for matching key to trim:

I've ordered one of those keyrings as that simple setup is best for sure. I was thinking body colour match for mine, as current keys are black Seems there was many options for how mirrors were configured: (according to https://www.stuttcars.com/technical/option-codes/boxster-981/ ) Mine has option 256, so no electric foldyness, and as you say the top button is blanked out 254 Manually retractable exterior mirrors 255 Manually retractable exterior mirrors with memory 256 Manually retractable exterior mirrors with automatic dimming 257 Manually retractable exterior mirrors with automatic dimming and memory 258 Electrically retractable exterior mirrors 259 Electrically retractable ext. mirrors with memory 260 Electrically retractable exterior mirrors with automatic dimming 261 Electrically retractable exterior mirrors with automatic dimming and memory
Patt
Everyday is a school day - I honestly thought they were always paired together for our market. T24RES had his key sides body coloured,, and then bought the leather pouch "garage" to keep the paint on his key. I prefer just the plain key ring too. Yes, I do have a Porsche leather key pouch (which I don't use now) but also prefer the plain Porsche leather key fob. I also had set of body coloured key sides for my Guards BGTS, the carbon key sides were recommended and I took a chance - when I got them the quality was brilliant, very much real carbon and they look great - excellent for my BGTS as it has the carbon trim around the dash so the key matches perfectly.
