High Mileages ?

Greetings All,

A first post from me so have a virtual beer or cuppa on me.

Just bought a nice 987 from Trooper88 which has 100k miles on it & an epic service history, so i'm not fretting.

I'm interested to find out if there are some really high milers on here ? 200k plus.

2010 987.2 2.9 here and just under 159k on my odometer....second owner and I bought her in October 2020 with 142k on the clock. Runs like a dream and they like to be driven too. Changed the original clutch and flywheel at 150k .

Enjoy the car and drive her often and hard.

2009 987 2.9 manual in midnight blue with sand interior which just passed 187,000 miles, no major issues in its life.

I am the second owner, for the last 3.5 years and it has been brilliant. Like the previous owner, it has been regularly serviced by independents with annual oil changes and anything needed done when required. I believe it had a new clutch at 120k.

Sadly it looks as if it has to go soon, as I am moving and there will be no space for it.

I have to admit that it was the first owner who did high annual mileages, I took a punt at 173k given the history and a 6 month warranty from the specialist who had looked after it up to that point. Never regretted it!

Ditto on this... bought mine at 142k from the original owner, comprehensive service history and motorway miles plus the great price swung it for me..... fantastic machines but toying with the idea of moving onto a 911 soon.... possibly..... not decided yet...i'll say it again, these cars really do need to be driven and often..... it seems the 987.2 2.9 may have been one of the sweet spots in the Boxster story.
