Went to refit it yesterday but not only can I not find the four retaining nuts, I cant even remember what type they are. The thread they screw onto is very coarse which made me think they would be plastic nylon nuts, but from a video I just watched on Youtube, it looked like they may be metal ? Andy Mac Posted August 10, 2023 Report Share Posted August 10, 2023 (edited) @Bradders59 loads on EBay and the like too ….. vw plastic nuts or similar: I ran a tap through the ones I bought so I didn’t force them over the - slightly old looking - metal threads / posts from the chassis.
