Patt
you need to modify the mounting if you buy the aftermarket kits, bit of fiddling to get correct height and angle but no great deal. II would advise checking the cost of the cage for the PCM and then cutting the bar that splits the plastic into two separate Din e sized holes. I've fitted a double din into 986 using both methods. The OEM plastics (on Molly)and cage are so much easier and you can also continue to utilise the anti theft alarm on the head unit. The after market way is either an expensive kit or make a double din fit and dremel the plastics. Both these ways I have done for EDC in the past.

½cwt
Double DIN frame without the bar is 996 552 231 12 01C (01C is the standard satin black finish code), with the bar is 996 552 231 11 01C. New from Porsche looks to be about £50 give or take, or there's salvage if you may have to cut it about anyway.
