Replaced one of the roof tension cables as it had frayed and broken - that was not much fun!
Removed the drivers seat to install an underseat subwoofer and found 1.45 in loose change - result!
Also found this warning sticker, which must have been under the seat quite some time - where does this start off?
Now I have to stop driving with the roof down at -1!
I have one of those little cards tucked in a pocket on my drivers side sun visor...

Oh no the new lights have made your numbers on your plate disappear 😂😂😂
Dodgy Chinese LEDs - overheated and melted the plate?

Wow, prices really have plummeted! and I am totally out of touch with the market 🙄
Pretty big miles chap.
I'm still on 23K so I hope mine is still worth more than that 😀

Went for an MOT today, passed with a 'that's the shiniest Porsche I have seen underneath comment'. All the winter garage tinkering paid off
Satisfaction! 😎

Amazon most days!
Yep.
The best I have had is from a large IT distributor who ship from the Netherlands, massive box containing bubble wrap to hold a paper license certificate, had this more than once from them, even though I request electronic delivery of licenses 😲

That reflection is weird, I keep thinking you have a padded leather boot lid
Yeah it made me look, then zoom in, it still looks weird even knowing that it's just a reflection...

Please report back on the success, or otherwise, of the washing and what you used as my driver's side belt is very lazy at retracting.
@Jonttt recently washed his seatbelts and described the process in his Black Edition running report...

Although it wasn’t pitch dark on my drive out tonight it was dark enough to tell that these are a big upgrade on the old lights. Not dissimilar to the xenon lights I’ve had on various BMWs and Audis in the past.
That wouldn't be hard! I couldn't drive my 987.1 at night because the lights were so dim and yellow...

Love that interior colour. Works really well...

Good job on the discs and pads Jon. Mine will need doing at some point this year, be interested to know how you get on with these and how the pads do with dust as they bed in...

Not sure what that means tbh. Just thought with other posts linking ebay motors, i saw this and thought I would drop it in here.
He meant the link was to a 981 Black Edition, not 987...

😍 Move the 911 out of the way so we can have a better view of the Boxster 😍
Seriously though, Carlos is a top bloke. This is what BoXa's all about. I'll enjoy that with the Mrs on the patio later. Glad you're sorted buddy 🤙
Get that out of the sun and into the fridge
Enjoy!

I had s similar surprise last week on a small roundabout in the wet. Genuinely surprised me how little power it took to break traction.
How old are your tyres?
When I had my first Boxster it was shod with PS2 tyres all round with a decent level of tread, cold/wet grip was horrible at the rear. When I checked the age of the tyes, the fronts were 2 years old, the rears were 6 years old. Swapping the rears for a new set of PS2 tyres made a huge difference!

Rained whilst I was out and I promptly rediscovered the rear wheel steering effect of accelerating from standstill at a junction, I was pointing in the direction I wanted to go somewhat before I'd got the steering lock off 😀 😲
Great fun, now go and change your underwear
