  3. Front bonnet badge

    I replaced a bonnet badge in the past.  Plastic/rubber shaped buffer to frame the badge and protect the paintwork, badge sits on top of this with the two bolts going through and fixed from the other side with single use fixings filled with a sealing compound from memory.  Cost of the badge was not outrageous - maybe £70 or so from memory.

    20 years ago maybe N rated tyres were important, but tyre tech has moved on so far, id rather just fit the best tyre currently available, and not worry about whether it is N rated.

    Very happy with my recently purchased Sealey rocket jack, which makes things so much easier than the basic Halfords one I normally use. (thanks to @Gutleyfor the recommendation).

    Thinking this stands and ramp set up will work well when I get to the transmission oil change, which is next on list.

    Where did you purchase the jack from Peter?  I'm still pondering a new jack...

    I'm just disappointed that the trip counter is not at an appropriate level - say 250.0 miles - symmetry is all important - poor planning... 😬

    I was doing it right at one point but won't let me past any URL in there now, just turns red instead.

    I manually added a .jpg extension to each...

    With Flickr I don't have to do this,  with Imgur I do....

    The enlarged emblem is now up on the wall, I was just getting some art prints made up to decorate the gallery garage and thought I'd get the Porsche badge done to go along with the others.

    I can't get the pictures to embed from imgur... again !!!  Was just going to say my artwork has had some Porsche influence lately...
