I'm sure you will agree Terry that we have very seldom caused you a rash. Cheers, Baggers. Logically it's not the person in front that causes problem by being too close, it's the person in front who wheel spins, anywzy it just happens in these circumstances, anyone who doesn't want it to shouldn't go. I'm only stirring the pot.

It can't be helped, pulling out of Toft does it and some of those lanes have gravel on them, anyone at the back will tell you the distance the stones travel and still have the ability to chip glass or paint is amazing
StephenM
I bought a nice winter coat for my Boxster from CoverZone, so will see how it fits once it's delivered!
karlp606
Gave her a wash and wax yesterday, checked splashguards as still getting a little bit of damp behind the passenger seat Full interior clean and leather treatment, swapped rear reg lights for LEDs. Was going to fit my new rear LED taillights but one has been damaged in transit so awaiting a new one wish I discovered this before I took both my old lights out! kevs
Took it for a minor service at Porschacare. Always reassuring once that's been done and all is well. Rewarded it with some country lane action!
pipsqueak
Front bumper back on, how fiddly is that on your own ? Then changed the D2s bulbs for new ones and Fabsil'd the roof. Noticed the lhd foglight bulb isn't working so I'll fix that tonight

Weirdly, on my 986 I seem to recall that there might even have been a bulb in the socket, but no wiring in the loom to it (although it took me a while to work that out!). It always offended my sense of symmetry, and I was tempted to do what I'm sure others have done and run a wire across from the other side, but I don't think I ever got around to it once I learned the reason for it. pipsqueak
Cheers but It's the front one that's got a dodgy connection, probably become displaced when I had the headlights out whilst doing the bumper.

Mr96er
215/50 R17 front 245/40 R17 Rear feels like it darts into corners and waits for the rear to follow? More so at 60 but it's not meant to go much over that. Reckon a Strines run is in order to shake her down...

Mr96er
Not inadvertently. Conventional wisdom supports the notion that squarer and narrower are better for winter set up.

Yes, but we've already covered the desire to square up on a narrower set up....so... Maybe start a thread in technical forum?
