michelin
I've used Brodie in the past but fancy a change. What do we all use? I've been on a site called 'Kuda' and they make some decent bits.
Menoporsche
Waiting for @mike597 to say "out of the window..." I'm wondering about one of those flat metal disks on the back that fix to a magnet, they seem cool.

Stuart21UK
for the most part it doesn't need a mount if connected by Bluetooth and you have full PCM....mine stays in my pocket, as does my Android one too...

Did that before posting but I was interested where he actually mounted it and his experience of it REALLY holding the phone over long journeys. CMA
I don't have full PCM or Dab or USB input so use my phone for Nav and Music. I stuck it above the screen, so it does obscure it when mounted but as the magnet on the back of the phone is round a gentle nudge and it pivots out of the way if needed. It has only fallen off once after going over some very, very bumpy road sections and stayed well attached even when out on a Loz breakfast run Drawbacks are the standard sticky stuff is naff, but I had some decent 3m stuff and the magnet on the phone is quite large so I have it stuck to my case, but if I get a new case I'll need to dig out the spare magnet the pack came with. I''d avoid the smaller cheaper mount without the rubber bit you see on mine that just allowed the phone to swing about and more likely to fall off, the rubber holds the pone in place better. I'm sure it's not the best one out there but it works ok for me.

michelin
Thanks for the input guys. I do like the steelie but its the magnetic side which puts me off as I've cards behind the phone. The search continues. Cup holder was good though as a first off :-)
