big mike
Anyone ever hydro dipped there side vents, I was looking to do them with carbon wrap as they are a bit discoloured but thinking that may not last so wondered on the hydro dipping
mike597
I've seen wheels that have been dipped, if those can last should think vents will be fine. @GuvsI think has/had carbon wheels.
RickLS7
As an alternative, why not just get them repainted? I just had my bumpers repainted for £150 each and look like new, I'm sure both vents would be only £50.

RichRobby
I Plastidipped my yellow ones with black paint the other day and they look fab. I am going to do the fuel flap as well (wish I could work out how to remove it though) And as has been said, it's not permanent if you don't want it to be. Guvs
They do look good as long as you get someone that knows what they are doing. Guvs.

And tbh it's like anything else, there's good and bad. The carbon above looks good but i've seen some that look cr*p. And don't get me started on all the skulls stuff about...... Patt
I've seen Guvs' vents in the flesh. The finish and effect was very good, and I'm a slave to the real weave !

Same here. I had a fair bit of my old car and there is nothing like a good carbon part when it's lacquered properly. Guvs vents do look good though, impressed with them and i've seen some shocking carbon print before now.
Jason986S
Also seems Guvs in the flesh and looks well. I'm a sucker for the real deal, and not keen on carbon wrap, but the hydro is a happy medium if it looks good like Guvs.
