dpg123
Good day all! My wheel bolts are a little rusty and are the originals from new. I was wondering if anyone could recommend replacements?

some bloke
I got a standard replacement set from design 911, I think - the hemispherical bits on mine were cracking and they were rusty, with some worn threads.. I got a new set of lock nuts as well, although I think some on here don't think they are necessary.
edc
The Techworld direct ones are good value. My car is mostly a fair weather car now and not a daily but been on since 2013.

If the collars are rusty and disintegrating then replace them. If on a buget then just replace the ones which are disintegrating with sound secondhand ones. Harden off in a slightly warm oven if you want it to be a bit more durable finish.
Lennym1984
Go for studs! They are way better and the kits can be picked up for a similar amount as a set of bolts.
987RG
Link to another thread about bolts: I'm also looking to get new bolts for my 987.1 as some of the spinning collars seem to have minor cracks on them. maybe the TWD ones?
