H & R M030 Spring Sets For All 986

Recommended Posts

We have secured a limited quantity of the H & R M030 10mm lowering spring sets at a good price. 4 springs to match Porsche M030 springs, these will fit all Boxster 986. If you have a broken spring this is by far your cheapest option for replacement!

Happy to let these go to BoXa members at £110 + vat and delivery a set

Technically the rears are slightly stiffer on a tip because the box is heavier, H&R have made these so they fit all options.

Thanks Bally

Tbh, it is not something I change that much surprisingly plus I am not sure these springs are compatible with original shocks?

In other words, if someone uses these, unless they already have M030 shocks fitted, they would need changing as well.

Is the spring rate much different to X029 springs or are they just shorter?

They will fit, I’ve done about six or seven cars with the H&R 10 mm

I would say spring rate is the same, the 10 mm shorter I have  found translates to around a 20 mm drop, really effective on the 987 that stand quite high unless it’s a Sport edition

20mm is quite a lot on a 986 as it doesn't sit so high as a 987 and with my 911 rather than 986 off-set wheels could I rub the arches?

I would not expect that to be the case
