Menoporsche
Base price or final price? As remember the choice of options can increase the base from 2-20%.

Yes exactly all that, £450 back then seems quite a lot of dosh.

It was the same for VW around the time of the Mk5 Golf based cars, cruise could be done for a £90 stalk and coding (some didn't even need coding) when as an option it was £2-300. Options pricing is partly about desirability as well as pure cost.

Fat Rat
Done the calcs on mine using correct year price list and it comes out 37k with the roof I bought it. Not a very high spec car. But with the BOE calc comes out at 62k today. 🤙🏻
Andrew6
When I got my Boxster it had a ton of paper work including the 2000 price list (original owner had gone through it and ticked everything they wanted). Base price list attached.

Seems odd that on my 2003 price list the starting price is the same as yours on the 2000 price list, but the other models are cheaper in 2003 than 2000? 🤔
