"Hi I have 2 BGTS 4.0s coming in March, they are just being shipped from the factory. You can have the choice of which one you want, we will keep the other as our demonstrator" At what price over list I asked? "No it's an unregistered cancelled order, it has to be at list price" Well that being cheaper than any almost new demonstrator including theirs and significantly cheaper than the 1 owner cars that are obviously being flipped, I really started to take an interest. It isn't my first choice of Shark Blue but maybe my second choice Arctic Grey. The fact that it has Bose and LEDs, both of which seem fluid in their availability really ticked all my boxes. A quick call to the OPC who I have my deposit down with, confirmed supply is being tightened up due to component shortages and that all indications now are that no or limited production after 2023 is likely. Also they are not getting the expected allocation 2nd qtr. All this has swayed me and deposit paid😁 http://www.porschecode.com/PPSJZHI2 This means my beautiful 981S, with full OPC service history, 34,000 miles, Porsche warranty until March 2025 and pretty much every extra will be for sale when I return to the UK in April. I was unsure, but popped into Porsche Marbella and they had an Arctic Grey Cayenne sitting in the sun. It's much nicer than the configurator photos, it's lighter and has a real blue tinge and with all the black accents, should look great.
