Autotrader usually has most of the OPC cars on it anyway. At the moment there are 7 PC cars 6 of which are part of the 11 on autotrader so that's 12 total between OPC and autrotrader.

Don't forget to add the few from piston heads which don't appear on auto trader or opc . Not that it matters as still more than 10 - 11 .

I started a thread on this one back in April when it was going into a May DVLA auction and I think a few on here put a bid in for it. I think the price it went for is in that thread if anybody wanted to find out. I'm not mentioning it, I've heard it can cause offence!

Ahh... So you did:

Linked again so all members can be fully-informed, albeit in an inoffensive manner. :)

Great plate, hefty price.

You could source 2 986s for that Baggers :o

Too true Clive.

However it's all relative... It's only like putting a £500 plate on a 986?

Cheers, Baggers.

Almost let my GTS go 2 weeks ago.

Its a year older, I've put 5500 miles on it and I'm being bid what a paid for it less the independent dealer margin (5-6K). Being told on SOR it could go for the same as I paid as I paid for it although specialists recommend putting it up for more.

It's the spec they are sensitive too, along with colour exterior/interior.

The prices haven't softened at all as I paid less this time last year that would have this year.

I'd expect prices to soften now and over the winter but when the 718GTS 4 POTS are in it will be interesting if people will part with 70K for one. I'm sure they will but the 981 S/GTS will always be in demand I think.  They will depreciate I think but marginally.

There is nothing else out there right now apart from a Spyder or GT4 which are 25 to 35K that does what the GTS does. It's the last of its kind and owner like me are hanging on to them even though we normally would change cars. Alot of owners are buying other cars but keeping their GTS'S too.

The S is holding its price as well, extremely strong money.

All of them are great cars. Here's to hoping the new Spyder or GT4 are NA if not I'll still have my GTS lol. Probably still will as I doubtful of an allocation!

Same here, porsche have lost a 718 GTS sale to me after my experience of driving a 718S for 2 days recently. Just made me appreciate the 981 even more.

ps still can't find x20 BGTS for sale, I'll keep looking ;-)

Will be intersecting few months re pricing i.e.:

- more and more original owner 3 year finance deals on 981 BGTS expiring. Those cars will probably enter the market on higher average mileages so the norm is to bring the average price down.

- 781 GTS potentially being launched at motor shows so real decision time for existing owners.

Personally I'm confident in any 981 GRS being a cheap car to run when you factor in depreciation.

Have you seen the front bumper on the GTS? Looks terrible imo.

If all the next Boxster/Cayman's are 4 pot then I'm stuck in the 981 range for sure which is strange as I change cars frequently just to try other cars but I feel like I'm stuck now and can only purchase older cars which the characteristics I look for.

i think a lot of magazines are confusing the sports design bumper for the future gts one

if you look on the configuration it's identical and very awkward looking

Wasn't the 981 sports exterior pack for the 981 and 981S basically the 981 GTS bumper?

Thought so, so we now know how gash the front bumper on the 718 GTS will look lol.

Ive seen a complete genuine Spyder bumper, LEDs, Mesh, Grilles, Light washers, now that on my GTS would look so good :D

If you go for it then you know where to send your GTS bumpers :D

There is one on eBay now mate, going cheap, has one grille in, and someone also has the GTS complete front splitter for sale. So you'd just need one plastic grille. Happy days :)
