Sometimes take a longer route if I have time/can be bothered. Coming home is mostly stop/start, unless I work on for a bit.

Blackbatchew
986 3.2 was getting 27mpg. Changed to 987 3.4 and similar driving / runs has dropped to 24mpg. I was quite surprised it made so much difference tbh.

fat haggis
It's a banning offence doing obscene mpg like that get your foot down. Low 20s or less and you will be happier and your smile should overcome the low mpg

That986
I've never bothered about MPG, didn't buy a sports car to worry about it. What i do know is that i'm about to fill up again (1/4 tank left) and i've done 160 miles.

bigmac
My 3.2S is a daily. Gets driven motorways, country roads and a bit round town. I used to keep accurate mpg records (fill tank, drive till empty, fill tank, Calc mpg based on miles driven for fuel used) I average about 26. If i drive it harder it only averages a few less, drive like a nun it only gets a few more so why worry. I have never owned a car that seems to use the same amount of fuel regardless.
