I agree although if I want for green I'd go for the latest Lizard Green! Launch colour of the GT3RS.

On that note here is an interesting short colour article...

That an interesting article Steve @rowbos although the bit about ' designed to draw you into the showroom' made me laugh. There is no chance for someone not 'well known' to the OPC to get one of these cars, unless they pay considerably over the list price when the flippers get going!

Blue, Deffo

Banana Grellow, Growing on me

Barbie Pink, Erm probably not (unless they threw in a matching pair of leather trousers)

Ah but once you are in there is always a pitch to make!

Visted Edinburgh OPC yesterday and saw this trio of Porsches in horrendous colours....

Personally though I think I'll stick to my 981 in classic white...

Edinburgh OPC

They only had the pink one last time I was in ….

bold colours aside … you're luck you didn't get "keyed" parking over two spaces at the "Fort" ….. I've seen people almost come to blows over parking spaces there on a Saturday afternoon!

It was very early and also very quiet at the far end of the car park. I was with the car at all times waiting for the missus to finish shopping in Next!

I wouldn't park the car like that and leave it, for precisely the reasons you mention!

It's got to be racing yellow every time not that I'm biased! Having had red, grey and blue cars in the past I don't think I could ever go back to being that boring. I do have to say that pink one is an acquired taste but I am now a great believer each to their own.

Love bold crazy colours, but not brave enough to buy one. Had a red ford escort harrier mk2 as a yoof, but after that it's invariably been silver or black.

I would be worried about people thinking he's a flash git in a flash car and vandalism ?

I can laugh. But would have done the same in that scenario ?

I had the discussion at the OPC about vandalism and they said it was pretty rare to get vandalism against Porsche's no matter what the colour. Although I guess that depends where you live and also there are places I'd worry about parking a newish Ford so common sense on where you leave it. Their comments and my experience is it is more likely to attract admiring looks and the selfie brigade than the jealous want to damage your car idiots.

Outside of Slough Central, I think we're relatively safe  @_ChrisC_ ??

It is not safe to enter any part of Slough without a gas mask, I assume the smell would permeate the roof pretty quickly!

To all you Luddites this is Rubystone and not 'pink' :P.

I'm not sure if driving a pink car is worse than pretending it's not really pink!

Yeah, that's right :smile_anim: Tony, not pink at all :sad01_anim:.

"Never mind what it looks like, see what it says on this colour chart (that I have to carry around with me)!

Its bloody pink! Barbie and even Katie Price would be embarrassed to be seen in that.

You haven't seen Katie Price's vehicles then..?

She has a huge horse lorry, I used to see it around all the time, it is hot pink with a crown on the side (her equestrian logo) and the crown is made of diamantes no joke!

Sazzy beat me to it. Ms Price is regularly seen around here in her eye-catching vehicle - which is so distinctive that it crops up regularly on social media whenever people spot it parked on double yellow lines ...

I’m with you on this. There are a lot of the Black/Grey/Silver/White shades across the Porsche range so seeing some different colours is great, but not sure I could actually buy one without just being too self conscious when out and about.
