There is no chance for someone not 'well known' to the OPC to get one of these cars, unless they pay considerably over the list price when the flippers get going! Having had red, grey and blue cars in the past I don't think I could ever go back to being that boring. Had a red ford escort harrier mk2 as a yoof, but after that it's invariably been silver or black. I would be worried about people thinking he's a flash git in a flash car and vandalism ? I had the discussion at the OPC about vandalism and they said it was pretty rare to get vandalism against Porsche's no matter what the colour. Although I guess that depends where you live and also there are places I'd worry about parking a newish Ford so common sense on where you leave it. Their comments and my experience is it is more likely to attract admiring looks and the selfie brigade than the jealous want to damage your car idiots. Ms Price is regularly seen around here in her eye-catching vehicle - which is so distinctive that it crops up regularly on social media whenever people spot it parked on double yellow lines ... I’m with you on this. There are a lot of the Black/Grey/Silver/White shades across the Porsche range so seeing some different colours is great, but not sure I could actually buy one without just being too self conscious when out and about.
