Lonewolfgjp Posted October 29, 2022 Report Share Posted October 29, 2022 I’m not sure of years or models, I know Carrera is definitely on the 718 and I’ve seen 981 and 987.2 advertised as being Carrera white but the adverts could be wrong. Richard Hamilton Posted October 30, 2022 Report Share Posted October 30, 2022 (edited) Looks like their are 3 whites for the 981: White - C9A Carrara White - B9A Carrara White Metallic - S9R Full list here: <981 Paint Colours> Carrara is named after the white Carrara marble from Italy. Nothing to do with the Carrera Panamerica, after which many Porsche models are named. Ringmaster999 Posted October 31, 2022 Report Share Posted October 31, 2022 Unfortunately Porsche UK will no longer issue a certificate of authenticity but if you contact Porsche UK customer service and ask for a build spec of your car. muddypaws Posted November 17, 2022 Report Share Posted November 17, 2022 So, thanks for the advice - the maintenance booklet unfortunately says 'white' The link above to the 2013MY says "Pure white" so I assume this is my colour according to my VIN Confusingly, mine is a 2012 reg vehicle & in this year, Boxsters were Carrara white. To be completely sure I emailed Porsche GB & got this reply "We have checked the Porsche database which states that the colour is ‘White’. There is no other wording attached to the colour."
