Patt
really ought to be wearing gloves ! Also surprised you've not modified the hubs to utilise studs - for easier wheel changes.

PaulQ
@ATM I ran 987 tyres for a while on my 986 when lowered 30mm and no rubbing issues.

Looking forward to putting the 18’s on in a few months, With sticky summer pilot sports and spanking the bejeezus out of them😈
PaulQ
Took the battery off to charge it. Fitted 10/17 so done pretty well considering the amount of short trips the car does
Apollo000
800 mile since Xmas eve means tomorrow she may see some TLC weather permitting, however the hour from Clevedon to Wiltshire in the fog was interesting - showed me my lights are seriously out of alignment. Will have to find somewhere level tomorrow to sort them out.
Stewart_H
I actually had a chance to drive mine today so took it out for a blast - I absolutely love it! 😍 I then had a go at fixing my boot release issue (it worked off the key but not the lever by the driver's seat) Before... After... This bodge job actually works! I'm quite amazed 😄

½cwt
I think I was Keith Duckworth who said a genius can do for a penny what an engineer can do for 10p. Now how much was that choc bloc? Good bush fix, well done. 👍 Edited December 28, 2019 by ½cwt
el 3.2S
Cool. That is not a bodge though, looks like precision engineering to me. A bodge is the lump of blue tac which holds on my middle brake light, after the flimsy clip things fell off and disappeared down behind the soft top .

Stewart_H
Christmas fix number 2... I bought an ashtray from a fellow BoXa.net member which arrived this morning 😊 I removed the white plastic pin lock from it and fitted it to my silver ashtray which had the pin lock part missing and wouldn't stay closed as a result. I now have a fully operational silver ashtray 😁
