RCS
On our recently acquired Boxster fair amount done already but still to do:- 1. Change headlight levelling link in the suspension (seized) 2. Get front bumper off to have some blemishes sorted, and then respray. New side grill inserts on shelf to be fitted, and then mesh behind them before putting back on 3. Check and clean rads and condensers whilst bumper's off 4. Paint manky brake calipers, and add new decals. 5. Paint bell end whilst doing 4 . (passes the time while the calliper paint is drying ) Nearly forgot:- 6. Look at repainting silver on Tiptronic gear lever as badly worn off.
Elppin
1. Change clutch and DMF (parts already bought) 2. Change coolant expansion tank (preventative and easier whilst gearbox is out for 1.) (part already bought) 3. Replace ac condensers (parts already bought) 4. Paint front bumper and replace side grilles. 5. Get two spots of rust sorted - behind passenger door latch and tiny spot on top of one sill. 6. Replace boot lid as a previous owner closed mine on something tall and dented it. 7. Full service (parts already bought). 8. Save up for labour for 1,2,3 and 7! r1flyguy
Got the car back from the OPC on saturday morning, it had been washed but yesterday after the sun had melted the ice i was able to give it a quick wash over and use the 2 waxes purchased following recommendations on the winter wax thread Harly wax, so easy to put on it doesnt feel like your putting enough on!!! Whilst that was 'drying' Applied 1000p high temp sealant/wax to the wheels buffed it all off and car looked very sparkly, lets hope that offers some protection until spring!!!
