Christopher2110
Each to their own, might go walkies pretty quickly. Clean around those valves though 👀
BOB.T
I have some that I got for my birthday, they're not on yet Be sure to put some grease on the threads, they're a nightmare for corroding and getting stuck on!

rowbos
5 hours ago, Gramps said: copper greased to the max 🙂 Good plan. I had metal caps on a 5 series (BMW official caps on a brand new car). They corroded and siezed - all 4 valves had to be cut off, the tyres taken off and refitted with new valve's (plastic caps this time!) - a complete pain in the ar*e! Terryg
You would think that manufacturers would know no no one actually does check their tyre pressures weeklyy

red rocket
I have some nice, cheap plastic ones. Look good and no chance of corrosion. Edit: just to clarify, they do have the Porsche crest.

There’s a whole new level of OCD in ensuring they are in the right orientation with the wheel crests. 🤣

Sods law I always seem to have one tyre that loses a bit of air over time so I normally check all the pressures at the same time. Will have to remember to top up the copper grease as well 🙂

entdgc
My car is guards red and I have some cheap but nice red anodised ones - no Porsche crest. They look good...
Greyanglia
I bought the £5 Chinese 'originals' from eBay one night after a glass or two of red. They're ok but a cheap fit with the crest inserted on the tip and one has dropped out and disappeared after few months. Suspect they are the same caps used with a Ferrari, AM, Lambo crest. They're pretty discreet surprisingly and I'd buy again.

I daresay they won't last the distance but worth a punt and see how they go, providing they're kept greased of course. 😬
