Looks like it's slipped down? Yeah I noticed I think the previous owner did it to mask some cracks in the bumper... Thinking of getting a brand new one and fix the plate then.. but is not cheap. Also worried about the paint looking different?

Wouldn't worry about getting a bumper painted. Any half decent bodyshop should match it perfectly.

Jason986S
I went skateboarding yesterday with my kids. I think I actually appreciate what fear and potential injury risk it now. Back then (when I was a teen) I'd try something and worry about it in A&E later. On a Boxster note, I had a new outside tap fitted this morning, Karcher K2 in the garage ready to test it out later. Time to google and gen up on the swap. Pig ? to undo the hoses on the engine side it seems! Anyone done the job recently?
Sazzy
Finally got my hands on some fly catchers and fitted them! Car looks so much better. They seem a little too easy to just clip in, does anyone secure them with anything more? Edited September 3, 2017 by Sazzy
allatsea
Took the front bumper off and cleaned out it all out. Not a DD so still all good from having it all (condensers and radiators) replaced last year. First time I've done it and another day along the journey of looking after this car. Decided to repaint the grills black (from grey(ish)). I know that they'll disappear against the black intakes, but it'll go with the newly black wheels. Could really do with replacing middle rad, so that might be next...

I don't use anything on mine on a track I'd imagine they would be safe up to 110mph so normal uk road use would be fine. You could put one black cable tie at the bottom that would stop it d disappearing
TimsterC
Not today, but Saturday. Got the covers back off of Leo and washed the roof with shampoo, rinsed, rinsed, rinsed, dried it. Fabsil Gold and let it dry while I went to Twickenham to watch London Irish stuff the Harlequins. Yay!!! Got home and put the covers back on. Not had the courage to pull the covers off yet and test if I can get a decent shot for the bead porn thread yet, but may get brave today. Looses grip in really hot weather if used on glass. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Black-black-strength-adhesive-photographers/product-reviews/B0051BT40K

PaulQ
Ordered some resistors from RS last night to get my fans working on low speed, which arrived this morning so bolted them to some 4mm alluminium plate, and wired them up. br2 by paul quick, on Flickr br3 by paul quick, on Flickr
Bluepork03
Gave it a well deserved wash tonight. First chance I've had since the South Wales run on Sunday. Pulled a couple of handfuls of leaves that I brought back with me out of the front grills
