A new addition to the register #620........

Very low miles (17k), very limited pics but I think basic spec for a Black Edition and up for c£33k

I think they are vastly overpriced but no doubt great if you own one 😁👍🏻

What would a 987.2 with all those extras cost in a different colour, I wonder? 17,000 miles, one owner, FPSH.

It's always going to fetch a premium.

Very much in the same ballpark price-wise. The Black edition has far lower mileage. The white one has had 4 owners. Seems like the Black edition premium doesn't really exist - just the kudos attached to 'limited edition' status.

Its very rare to find a none Black Edition or Spyder with the Spyder wheels, they where very expensive to retrofit….and still one of the best and lightest Porsche Wheels 🤣

There's something not quite right there...  The ad says 43,500 miles.  Take a look at the shot of the dash, odometer shows 29,386.  Are they using old pictures to sell the car?

That's the best spec'd PDK BE I have seen I think got to be one of the earliest in the UK as well.

This is a car we have sold previously and we used the phots we took before as the weather has been so miserable.

The mileage advertised is the correct mileage.

#257 has come back up for sale on Pistonheads.

some alarm bells ringing with this one as the both the description and Spyder wheels are missing. I think this is since the last time it was sold as I would have noticed the wheels striaght away 🤔

Its advertised as sports seats and full leather interior options and it has neither.

There are usually a few explanations and probably a combination in this case but:

- dealer does not know what porsche sport seats and full leather are (easy to spot if you know what to look for)

- dealer does not know spyder wheels are standard and a main feature of the Black Editions as they are very expensive. They do actually describe the correct 18inch wheels

The reason for the errors could be:

- previous owner knew the value of the wheels and removed them to sell seperately (sigh)

- previous owner did not like 19inch wheels and changed for 18inch (unlikely as they are very light and descent ride quality), the car was setup for them from factory

- leather probably just an error but the advert expressly states >£14k of options. The car is not even close to that level of options (despite the norm of including PDK as a £3k option lol). If the dealer has used the build sheet and it included £14k of options then the car has been seriously messed with. The usual and only reason to change a leather dashboard for a none leather one is following crash damage

In summary I'd feel aggrieved if I bought this car as advertised and found out the most desirable options stated on the car are not and its missing the all important spyder wheels

Hi. There's two Black's on Auto Trader.

I think they maybe two cars that aren't on the register.

I don't currently own one, but I am looking around. I'd ideally like a PASM equipped car, and definitely a Manual.

Would should I look out for? Are there any problems or issues specific to the Black?

Thanks in advance.
