Have you done the front / frunk drains? There aren't any front drains as such, it's just a series of holes but yes I try to keep the frunk area clean of leaves etc...

Cheers. So no round rubber bungs in the frunk / either side of the battery tray like on the 987.2? I've looked and cannot see - this must be why? iborguk
Noticed the wiper arm plastic bolt covers had gone grey due to UV. Sprayed them black again with some trim paint I had kicking about.

Menoporsche
How/why? I guess even the first is aftermarket? Or did the 718 revert to clear, from the 981 mesh? I see it's taller. Surprised if the lack of frame makes much difference in practice. Bought from where?

Much better rear vision and significantly less wind buffering and in my opinion much better looking.
Menoporsche
Nice, thanks. Now I look really carefully I can see the top is mesh, but very fine! I think 981 was more coarse.

Agree, as you know, I've got a high Windschott wind deflector in your old ⚪️🔴 981 and it is a significant improvement over the mesh one in terms of rear visibility 👍
M12MTR
1 of 4 completed. Couldn't get wheel off hub, sort of seized? So, centre cap off, a little squirt of WD40, wheel bolts slightly loosened, drove back and forth - hey presto and wheel cracked off hub and came off. (Just under 10k miles and I don't think they ever been off the car). So, inner wheel barrel cleaned - it was pretty stubborn - Meguiars wheel cleaner and a soft brush - dried and prepped, then wheel ceramic coated. Caliper and hub a little clean, plus anti seize paste on the 3 hub lugs. Job done. But other 3 to do - another time..... I'm fooked, but happier. From this..... JurassicBGTS
Just had my second oil and filter change within 13 months. First was after running in 1,800 miles and an Isle of Man "tour" second was today at 5,000 miles and just before we take off for a blast around the Black Forest and Swiss Alps. All done by my superb Indi at a very reasonable £270 and that was opening up just for me on a bank holiday! Glad to say the oil coming out was as clean as a whistle, didn't really need it but I felt it worthwhile given the driving over the next few weeks. Third will be the 2 year OPC, which I know will be far in excess of both previous oil/filter changes😡 Edited May 27 by JurassicBGTS

JurassicBGTS
Nah! Get a courtesy car. Please bring it back with the half tank sir. Ooops sorry I forgot, but I only did a couple of hundred miles today as I kept having to stop for a wee after all your coffee I drank😂
