What have you done to your 981 today?

Spooky darlings, I was actually on said road the weekend before last - silly girl had left her office keys in the office after a party.

Who did you use for the updates and how much, as I had hoped the carplay would negate the requirement, however I've given up with trying to get that to work?

I used the link from @Driyage

90 euros, all done via USB stick which I thought was much safer and straightforward than with cd’s and the possibilities of disaster.

Finally got some rain and a thunder storm here in the East of England this afternoon, so that saved me the bother of cleaning a few bits of bird poo from the car:

I took mine in for a service and brake fluid change today down at Club Sport Porsche Specialist in Lye.

I was looking for a local specialist and came highly recommended, they have been working and racing Porsches for over 25 years.

Not the flashiest of set ups but the techs were excellent and were very meticulous. They are also very careful with your car which is always a bonus after my previous experience at Ramus Porsche. Not too expensive either at £330 for the service and brake fluid change 👍

Booked at the Spa=Franchorchamps public driving day at the F1 track. 4 x 25 min sessions for 319 Euros.

My wife and I have done it before (2018) in our 7.5 Golf R. It was epic. Great fun and what an amazing track. Deffo a bucket list thing. Its organised by  the track itself and with only a few days per year on offer I think it's a bargain.

Why not have a go: https://www.spa-francorchamps-tickets.com/en/public-driving-experience

We were thinking of the Nordschleife again, but weekends are rammed and the late afternoon sessions are blighted by the nights drawing in now. We did the Nordscheleife back in 2018 as part of the same trip, but Spa is a lot more fun IMHO.
