Scuttle panel back to black

What the best product to use to get the scuttle panel back to black?

I've used 'Back to Black' and tyre dressing and whilst it works it never seems to last very long so any more permanent solution would be appreciated.

Thanks

Rog.

Hot air gun might work?

Previous discussions showed that then makes the plastic really brittle. Not bad on a scuttle, worse on garden chairs, but to bear in mind.

I have found the Polytrol good for over a year but not quite 2 years, basically it won't quite do two complete summers or UV here in the South Mids.

Only 3 times in the last 5 years with silver Hammerite!  Then I take the wheels off to do some work on it, so the sockets damage the paint, then they rust, so I paint them, then I take the wheels off..... and so the circle goes round.

Oh that was aimed at @Mattman42 and is new avatar.
