I got around £1600 quote for it, it's actually not much more than the independent workshops and the OPC is most convenient location for me - I booked it. The car is running fine, but I hope I'll get some peace of mind for this. I did this in 2018 when I first got my 2.9 PDK, had gearbox and clutch oil replace and full GEO set too. It was £1900. I do around 400-500 miles a year so do an oil change myself bi yearly and OPC service in between. I have spent a total of 3.2K on servicing in 1800 miles......not sure I need to keep that up? Ninesomething
Working with like-minded people never really happened for me. I suppose that's unsurprising really.

Pros are the face-to-face social interaction with no particular plan or meeting arrangement, and will be of most benefit to the recent, young employees that joined during lockdown. Cons are the commute (busy, queuing motorway in the manual Box is not something I particularly relish) , tight parking at the office, costlier lunch options, leaving the dog on his own 😉

Medic-one
Had a look at my engine for the first time since buying it, not the easiest job to get to! Especially disconnecting the plug from the speaker pod was a pain in the ar*e job! And then after putting everything back together and opening the roof I looked at these 2 gaps by the side, and couldn't remember if it's supposed to look like this or not : That is how it looks isn't, I haven't put the roof back wrong have I ? Menoporsche
Liberated it. Was blocked by a skip with 8m3 of rubble and earth in the drive, now gone. Edited May 5, 2022 by Menoporsche

Del_tl1000r
Air and pollen filters replaced. Used these magic sponge things on the interior sill scuff plates. Came up pretty good.

My mate has a 718 and that doesn't have that gap there, and then I couldn't remember if ours should have it or not 😳😂

Looks fine. As long as you clip the two wires back onto the balls and the rear apron plastic strip into the clips at the back, you can't really go wrong. 1
mchristyuk
Managed to snare an original PSE off eBay for my Boxster at a bargain price. Spent the day removing my previous custom made sports exhaust and fitting the Genuine Porsche item. Feel physically broken now 😂 Have got all the parts off Amazon to hook up the vacuum feed to a remote controlled solenoid. But that can wait for another day..! Medic-one
Went to a local little breakfast meet and am now in love with this red 911 Targa i saw... It started spitting so I put my roof back up, but fortunately it stopped after like 5 seconds. Very enjoyable morning here in Rochford (Southend area). Did you do this because you felt there was something wrong or is this something that people do routinely? I take it you're talking about the exhaust manifold? You must have a relatively new car. With many here, if they try to torque up the manifold bolts they'll disintegrate!

gillbe
Gummi pfledged the roof rubbers, front and back. Despite the fine weather, having to use half cover on the drive as a young aggressive sparrow has taken to head butting the wing mirrors and emptying his, seemingly bottomless, bowels all over the paintwork !
