Having done a lot to the car already I'd put the money towards in this order, some nice light buckets, gearbox rebuild with diff and maybe shorter gear set, 3.7 rebuild.

Although my yellow peril only as 41k on the clock, it will be 13 years old in October so would spend the £2,500 on some preventative maintenance. Mind you I’m not sure what this would include or whether the budget would be sufficient!

The parts fo a suspension refresh and some nice 18" wheels with new tyres. - Already done that.

I wouldn't put another £2500 into the current one, other than a good replacement exhaust system with s/s manifolds at some point.

£500 on track tyres, £700 on exhaust, £400 on cruise control... then the rest on trackday entries please!

Not sure that cruise control is essential on track days. It's just extra weight.
