Read bottom control arms done this morning ( coffin arms)

Managed to snap the bracket for the height sensor, brittle as anything, so need to find another one , there’s enough left on to secure with a tie wrap , or alternatively enough left to drill and secure with a self tapper

Just had a 4 wheel alignment at MVH in Cheshire, on it for a 11/2 hr before they were happy, asked the Tec after he finished and was paid for, could he code the rain wiper sensor in , he says not sure , explain they all have them fitted , just needs coding, anyway he had a look and loh! And behold sensors work !! He said he was x wilmslow OPC tec, and didn’t know that could be done. Anyway I got it for free and I reckon it will be another service they will be offering!!

Because of the wind/storms, car cover has been used, but the other night when Isha was at her worst the back end of the cover was flapping about in a most unruly fashion, which I sorted (mostly) with some string as a temp measure. The 2 underbody strap are secure/tight but the back end wasn’t playing nice.

Since Jocelyn is coming, I ordered some bungee cords to make it better, and have carefully tethered / looped around wheels to keep the back end secure. Probably just the orientation of the car to the way the wind arrives, but it’s much better now anyway (so far)

Thx & with 26.3k on the clock it's got plenty of life left in it yet.

That or maybe a 911, but it wont be convertible this time.

Top decision.....  :)

Bought a pair of front struts  complete , springs etc off a Cayman S  that were removed at 25 K for £150. Should make a difference on mine that’s done 100k … Billy bargain?!

Well as I do try to preach on here regarding suspension rejuvenating etc , spend you’re time searching out bargains and ultimately spread the cost, although it’s man maths over a period of time you have forgotten about 100 quid here and 200 there …..but when you are hit at one off 1500 quid plus in one hit …gulp, the fact if your savvy you can save copious amounts of money … ‘‘tis still Sunday so the mighty alter is still open to commence magnets!!
