Fitted BMC filters to mine a while back.

Unless you car's been driven in a coal mine I do not see those filters at only 6 months/3k old..

My point exactly!

Calls the last indy service into question in my mind. I mean its the easily visually checked item so why skip changing the filters!!

Looks like an oil change should be on the cards ASAP !

I don't believe they were changed and if the invoice says otherwise I'd take that as a good reason to give them a wide berth.

If that's indeed the case then it goes to show how inherently dishonest & immoral some outfits are..

paper filters get dirty quickly

bare in mind that the dirt on the filter is what it stopped going into the engine.  If you pulled one after 6 months and it was clean and fresh then it isn’t working

Have they got a manufacture date on them ?

Fitted the Isudar Android Auto to my PCM 3.1 today.

No external box required with this one, so a little cleaner to install than some other options. Have to say I'm really impressed so far, full wireless Adroid Auto with my Samsung S20FE, I didn't even fit the USB cable or mic as it seems to work fine with the original inbuilt ones!!

Looks great and sounds ideal, how much was the kit and how long did it take to fit?

It was approx €280 delivered to the UK.

Took me about 20minutes to get the PCM out and onto the kitchen table. About an hour to open it up, add the new PCB, internal cables, route out the ones that needed to come outside, and re assemble. Then another 30 minutes or so to plug into car and test, then refit.

So all in less than 2 hours I'd say.

I must add I'd watched numerous videos on opening and adding various options before attempting.

The supplied user and installation guide was no use whatsoever 🤯

Is it worth the money, only time will tell, but so far I'm happy 😁

Withy (maybe 🥴) was the one who pointed me in the direction of this one. He's had another type and suggested that this was simpler and maybe a little better.

Search android auto for my post, and that contains his link to his post 👍🏻

Got taken out on a roundabout by a 450h driving across two lanes without looking or indicating.

One of my beautiful bespoke winter wheels is part of the damage too. 😢

Wow, what a pain in the ar*e.

Got the aircon regassed at local Kwik Fit. Was kinda expecting them to find a leak but came back thumbs up and since I have the Zunsport grilles on, I hope all ok for a while. Freezing cold aircon now, just what I need for a Scottish winter!

Had PSE fitted at RPM Specialist Cars in Knaresborough. It's been on order since August, so took a while for the parts to come in! I must say, it sounded great on the short blast when they brought it back😁

Just to add, I did not buy the sports tips, as the original stainless ones were in great fettle.

Saving was up to £500 depending on which OPC you speak to, so well worth having.

The service I've had from RPM so far, has been the best ever. highly recommended.

Part numbers, costs?

I presume form OPC too?

Mine will need to be in for paint soon due to a numpty hitting me - so man maths might ask for a separate quote "while the paint is in the gun" 😉

Part numbers are

spoiler 98150430901

brackets (left/right) 98150464301 and 98150464401

From local OPC. I paid £520 all in which I believe to be a good price 👍

Much appreciated.  I will have to see IF I can stretch to that plus the excess on the claim (to be refunded later
)

@mrbikerdood that's cute.  Did you have it specially made, or you just found a Martini cup with the right number?

Found it by chance :)
