Well done, hope you put it back together with assembly compound so when you come to change the shocks, bump stops or top mounts it is a lot easier if you didn't do them whilst you were in there. Raffe
Busy day for my Boxster ‘Frank’ Collected from specialist having had a big list of maintenance completed; Clutch/IMS/RMS All brake pipes due to corrosion, new brake pads front and rear, braided lines & dot 5 fluid Front crossover pipes Steering rack inner rods “drumsticks” Top Gear exhaust valves plumbed in, albeit it appears solenoid switch is faulty. Fast Road 4 wheel alignment Full service & MOT. Also had some fun bits arrive too in the form of an OMP dished 350mm alcantara wheel with red stitching, and a matching alacantara/red stitched shift boot to match. Will do some pics in build thread once I’ve sorted a picture host account.

If they have put Dot 5 in it, I'd ask for it to be properly flushed and refilled with Dot 4 or Dot 5.

gillbe
…removed and refurbished rear ARB due to corrosion advisory from Lee at CPS. Bit of a faff getting lower link arm nuts off until realised 987.2 needs a T20 in the nut head to stop it spinning and not a thin 18 or 17 mm spanner on the body per the vids I had watched. Replaced bushes whilst there - although could see no noticeable wear despite 93k miles on the original set.
Del_tl1000r
Ordered GT exhaust and twin sport tips from Carnewal then removed mine. Nuts were the hassle I thought they would be! Hopefully have the exhaust in a couple of days. paulchamby
Passed the MoT without any advisories! Not bad for a 17 year old! Although, sadly it’s only covered 480 miles since the MoT last year. Hopefully it will get more use in 2022!
Del_tl1000r
Fitted my Carnewal GT exhaust and 'S' tips. Really happy with the sound. Looks so much better with the new tips rather than the single 😃
Del_tl1000r
Couple of pics. Had thought about the Soul X pipes and tips but didn't really like the fact they would protrude so went for the genuine article. Big difference I think.
Ninesomething
The gen 2 single tailpipe is not Porsche's finest work. Don't dislike the gen 1 so much. That looks heaps better than either. I'm also not wild about the double d shaped twin pipe that I have. Be changed soon to twin round. Raffe
New steering wheel at the weekend - I know this will be a marmite change part as the forum seems less geared towards aftermarket mods. Feels amazing to drive with, and I have a few other small red highlight pieces to tie it into interior.

As you say, Marmite, but may be get the silver accents on the gear lever and handbrake coded red too?
