But I'd say we have the better driving routes.
Bike Loon
Booked it in to get the wheels refurbished next week. Only minor kerbing on them but it annoys me!

Jcn27
Got mine back from D&G Porsche today. Great service as ever from them. Rms / ims seals replaced so the oil leak is now fixed. I'm off tomorrow so I'll be fixing the drivers window that has developed a mind of its own. New latch and door switch to try and sort that. Bike Loon
Conditioned all the leather interior ( seats, centre console sides, handbrake, door panels, dashboard, arm rest). I tend to do it every 6 month which not only cleans it but moisturises it and keeps it looking good and gives it protection from heat / cold / sun Edited March 21 by Bike Loon
Slomofo
Mine has just returned with all of its manifold nuts in the right place and no leaks. hurrah!
penrhos
Picked it up after full Lanoguard treatment. Having had some rust issues with previous 987.1 promised myself this would be priority on the new 987.2.

penrhos
Hi McDonald, cost was £370 (non registered for VAT). Guy trying to build up his business right out in the sticks north of Llanelli but less than an hour from me. Did a brilliant job with all covers off, including wheel arches and engine vents. He was so pleased to have been working on such a brilliantly engineered car (his words) I thought he was going to pay me😀.

I did my Three previous Defenders as DIY projects -c£80 each in Lanoguard plus sheets of old cardboard to protect the drive, I also smelt like a an old sheep until a decent shower. Good results. Will be doing my 987.1 when it stops raining long enough….. 1

Dubdubz
Today I took off most of the PPF - I have the drivers door and the front bumper left. I think it was from the dealer as the ppf was old and super scratched - letting the soon to be sold, little thing down. The bonnet section split from the adhesive so literally left the entire thing looking like a sharp frost 😱 Thankfully HG sticker remover from wickes removed the super sticky residue and other than one very small chip - it is factory fresh It was going to cost £700-£1000 locally - I can see why it was a really horrid job, with a combo of heatgun, steamer, plastic razor and the cleaner sticky stuff... phazed
Sounds like a nightmare! Mine has it from the door shuts forward. Was done many years ago and still is in as new condition. I assume the car has always been garaged.

The glue whilst being a real mess at least meant no clear coat delamination...

I'd assume, the Boxster being a sports car, that the rears would have some negative camber, so that wear is probably normal, no? No. It'll be toe. Pinewood
Not today, last week actually. was having to top up the coolant on my 987.2 and suspected it was more than just a little weeping of the cross over pipes (my mechanic had warned me on the annual service last year) £1100 later its all done. Did get the "check coolant level" a few times the day after, and consulted said mechanic. He informed the Boxster system needs to be filled under vacuum, which was done, but airlocks can occur. Refilled next morning and good as gold!
BBB
Washed the faint green marks off the edges of the roof with Autosmart G101 and then Fabsil Gold coated the roof yesterday. Super beading today.

Maybe a hairdyrer would be better thanks for suggesting will try on the bumper part I still need to do but rain stopped play.
